The 2025 federal election has been announced. This page is dedicated to highlighting key issues of concern, holding election candidates and members of parliament accountable, and providing actionable steps we can all take to ensure the best possible outcome in this election

Why is the Aligned Council of Australia opposing the 2024 International Health Regulations, and why do they need to be an election issue?

The World Health Organization (WHO) is the international organisation responsible for global health. The WHO is made up of 194 member countries, Australia is a member.

The WHO was responsible for declaring the Covid-19 pandemic and making numerous recommendations, which Australia’s politicians and health departments followed without question.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic the WHO has been busy writing more Pandemic Regulations and drafting a new Pandemic Agreement which will allow it to declare more and more pandemics. The Australian government has signed up for new Pandemic Regulations, giving even more power to the unelected WHO.

The WHO’s 2024 Pandemic Regulations will mean: the WHO may declare more pandemics; push for increased surveillance and censorship of Australians; and promote pharmaceutical interests.

The WHO is no longer solely funded by its 194 member countries – instead it now receives significant funding from pharmaceutical companies.

We must REJECT these Pandemic Agreements by 15 May 2025 and Pandemic Regulations by  17 July 2025.

Following are just a number of the key concerns we have about the WHO’s Pandemic Regulations and Agreement and what our government is walking us into.

Censorship

Censorship is the tool used when the lie loses its power. The WHO’s Pandemic Regulations requires Australia to respond to the ‘infodemic’ which is caused by ‘mis and dis-information’. It will do this by increased censorship. But who gets to decide what is such information: the government?

Surveillance

Testing, tracking and tracing.

Everything will be tested from sewage, to people, birds, and animals.

The WHO is on the lookout for the next pathogen of pandemic potential.

Also cue digital IDs with vaccine passports and health passes.

Cost

These Pandemic Regulations are going to cost us billions in compliance, surveillance, and testing.

None of this comes cheap under the Pandemic Regulations Australia is required to establish a National Implementation Compliance Authority to make sure we are fulfilling the obligations our government has signed us up to.

Australia must REJECT the WHO’s:

– Pandemic Agreement by 15 May 2025;

– Pandemic Regulations by 19 July 2025

And EXIT the WHO!

By making the rejection of the Pandemic Agreement and the 2024 International Health Regulations an election issue we are stopping the WHO and government overreach.
